AWF (NGO) holds maiden meeting in Handwara

Srinagar, Sept 24 (KNS): J&K Awami Welfare Forum (AWF) on Thursday held its maiden meeting in north Kashmir’s Handwara wherein it was decided to provide assistance to people residing in far off places during tough times.
According to KNS, the meeting was chaired by AWF Chief Patron Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sheikh and was attended by large number of people while acting upon the SOPs meant for keeping Covid-19 pandemic away.
During his speech, Chief of AWF said the aim of this NGO is to make people of far flung area aware about its objectives and to help them through this non-government organization.
He also expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his initiative of reach out program in UT of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
