February 19:(KNS)   Police in Awantipora have seized two vehicles with same registration number plying on National Highway.

Police Station Awantipora received information that two Tavera vehicles with same registration number JK01AM-0102 are plying on the National Highway. 

Upon this information a special naka was established at Awantipora market and both the vehicles were seized. The owner of both the vehicles has been identified as Parvaiz Ahmad Sofi resident of Awantipora. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody. 

A Case vide FIR no. 25/2021 under relevant sections of law have been registered in Police Station Awantipora and further investigation has been initiated.(KNS)
