Awami National Conference prays for speedy recovery of Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, March 30 (KNS): The Awami National Conference (ANC) has expressed deep sorrow over the diagnosis of corona virus in President and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah and prayed for his immediate recovery and added that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are generally requested to hold prayer meetings for the recovery of Dr. Farooq Abdullah. 

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), President of the National Conference and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah has been tested positive .Omar Abdullah, National conference's vice president, taking to twitter on Tuesday morning said "My father tested positive for the code-19 and has some symptoms of the virus.  My family and I are being quarantined until the tests are done.  "I urge all those who have come in contact with us over the last few days to take the necessary precautions."
 
Meanwhile, Awami National Conference chief Khaleda Shah, party senior vice president Muzaffar Shah  Expressed grief and asked the party workers to organize prayers for the speedy recovery of Farooq Abdullah.

 A statement issued by the party to Kashmir news service-(KNS) reads, "a prayer meeting was organized under the leadership of the party in which prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of Farooq Sahib". 

  Shah has made a heartfelt appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the Imams of mosques and other religious leaders, to remember the President of the National Conference in their sincere prayers for his speedy recovery. (KNS)
