Auqaf Jamia and Darul Khair recall contribution of Late Muhammad Ibrahim Shah


Srinagar, Dec 18:(KNS) Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid and Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil Friday paid rich tributes to Muhammad Ibraheem Shah, ex-chief engineer, who passed away on Wednesday at his Gogji Bagh residence here.

On the occasion of Fateha Khawani, a delegation on the directions of its incarcerated chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, visited the deceased’s residence and offered condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family on behalf of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid, and Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil.

As the deceased was an engineer par excellence with a vast experience on hand, whenever the Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq used to call meeting regarding upkeep or renovation of the grand masjid, Ibraheem Sahib would give his valuable suggestions which always proved beneficial for the Auqaf.

Similarly, after the devastating floods of 2014, when the Darul Khair patron Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir took the initiative of “Akh Akis” to build houses for the poor and needy, the deceased’s expertise proved a blessing and he fully dedicated himself for the mission by personally supervising the construction process. Late Muhammad Ibraheem Shah led the team and used to visit all the construction sites till the mission of building houses for the poor and needy was successfully accomplished,

The delegation, at the deceased’s residence, recalled his qualities and contribution and paid glorious tribute for his sincerity, nobleness and trustworthiness and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to him.(KNS)
