Sopore, Sep 25 (KNS) : A police officer sustained injuries in a road mishap in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.

Reports reaching news Kashmir News Service said an accident took place at Model town area when a four wheeler private car was hit by speedy unknown vehicle.

In the mishap a police officer sustained serious injuries and was taken to sub district hospital Sopore where doctors referred him Srinagar medical institute for advanced treatment.
A doctor at SDH Sopore also confirmed this road mishap and Identified injured officer as ASI Ghulam Nabi Hajam.
Meanwhile, a police officer told news agency a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. (KNS)
