Issue of daily-wagers will be resolved, but it will take some time : Koul

Srinagar, Dec 03 (KNS): J&K BJP's General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul on Wednesday welcomed constituting of three major committees to formulate and overlook its implementation of Forest Rights Act in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to statement issued to KNS reads Adressing the people at Arabal area of Tral in south Kashmir Pulwama district, Koul said it is welcome move by the government and Act will provide the grant of certain rights to forest dwellers.

"Some people were misleading Gujjar community but time has come that BJP has fulfilled it's promise and forest act will be implemented soon," he said.

Koul said BJP was the single party who stood up against the Gujjar community and will provide rights to SC and ST communities who were exploited from the past 70 years by the regional parties.

Koul said Forest Rights Act of 2006, which was not implemented in the erstwhile state of J&K for the past 14 years. However, the abrogation of Article 370 and the reorganisation paved the way for the implementationn, he said.

Regarding the issue of daily-wagers who working in government departments, Koul said BJP will resolve the issue as it is pending from past several decades.

"It is the headache of regional parties who settled their relatives and friends in department leaving daily-wagers high end dry," he said.

Koul said the issue of daily-wagers will be addressed but it will take some time as party will not deceive people like other regional parties.

He said BJP worked tirelessly during the Covid19 and said same worked will be shown to people to gain their support during DDC elections.

Koul said their party workers distributed thousands of ration kits among the needy, laborers were provided financial support and cylinders were provided to poor families and other works.

While referring to Gupkar alliance leaders, Koul said despite negative propaganda by Gupkar gang leaders against BJP makes them stronger and positive.

“We are hopeful that people will support the change. They will say no to traditional and family politics,” he said.

BJP reached to weaker sections of society as per 2011 cencus and provided them every possible help through various government schemes.

"Earlier the rights of poor and weaker sections of society was not being provided," he said.

Koul urged party workers for using of social media platforms to reach out the people.
"Work for people and develop their respective areas, so that people will not feel decieved anymore," he said.(KNS)
