Arrest Raksha Manch members under PSA; Cancel license of Media channel: ANC

Srinagar, Aug 17 (KNS): Expressing outrage at the derogatory & blasphemous remarks used against our beloved Prophet (PBUH) by members of Sentinel Bharat Raksha Manch Reasi on a video gone viral, the ANC President Begum Khalida Shah & Sr VP Muzzafar Shah have demanded Slapping of Public Safety Act against such communal elements & sealing of the Raksha Manch offices operating anywhere in the Jammu division.
In a press statement issued to KNS, the ANC Chief Begum Khalida Shah said that no room can be given to such elements of the society hell bent upon igniting communal passions by hurting & insulting the Muslim Ummah. This strategy of the fascist forces ruling the roost in the country needs to be exposed & nipped in the bud. It is for all the religious, social, political & civil society organisations to come forward on a single platform & ensure that this divisive force set afloat for dividing our society on caste, creed, religion & regional grounds is defeated, said Begum Khalida Shah.
Earlier during the day & on instructions of the ANC Chief, the Sr VP Mr Muzzafar Shah spoke with the Provincial President of ANC Jammu division to immediately get into contact with the senior office bearers of Dogra Sadar Sabha NC, Congress, SP, CPI ( M), PDP, Jammu Muslim front, Taskeen Publication, Shia federation, Shiv Sena,National Panthers Party, Sikh Coordination committee,Kashmiri pandith organisations, Jammu chamber of commerce, prominent civil society groups for formulating a joint strategy for demanding stringent action of slapping of Public Safety Act on the Raksha Manch goons & maintaining peace & communal harmony at all costs.

The ANC Sr VP also spoke on telephone with these political, social & religious groups concerned, appealing them to stand united in maintaining peace & communal harmony & coordinate efforts not to let anti social & communal elements take advantage of such situations. The arrest of the media team hand in glove to spread communal hatred is also demanded along with cancellation of their licence forthwith. No room can be given to such elements hell bent upon igniting communal frenzy. These fascist forces have to be defeated,Mr Muzzafar Shah said.(KNS)
