Shopian, Sep 20 (KNS): Army on Sunday organised a cycle race in which hundreds of cyclist from nearby area participated, Commanding officer of 44 Rastriya Rifles flagged of the Race Carrier counselling programme also given to students.
According to Army to educate youth and to Stay away them from Drugs,a cycle race organized by Army's 44 Rastriya Rifles in Shopian where hundreds of youth participated Race begin from Padpawan and ends at Chowgam.
With the cycle race participants gave a carrier counselling program by the Senior Army officers at Chowgam army Camp of 44 Rastriya Rifles.
Participants came with full of enthusiasm and spirit which could be seen on their faces."we are happy as Army has organized a cycle Race for us and they have given us Carrier counseling classes also"Said Momin a Participant, the army statement said.
Although Shopian has an excellent potential to produce good engineers, officers, Doctors and what not but things has to be streamlised in a good and broader way said an officer who was present on the occasion.The said officer while speaking to Children narrted his success stories with the aim that children must be set up their goals for future planning. Officer suggest them to read with dedication and full of spirit.
At last participants were given token of appreciation to encourage them for future.44 Rastriya Rifles also conducted many such events in which youth gets proper future counseling.Army is very committed to uplift and guide the young ones to flourish their future in different categories (KNS)
