Army man injured in cross border sniper fire

Srinagar, 10 May, (KNS): An army man was injured on Sunday when he was reportedly hit by a sniper fire apparently from across the border along Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, officials said.

As per officials the soldier was guarding a forward post in Balakote sector when he was hit by a bullet.

The injured soldier was instantly rushed to nearly local military hospital where from he was shifted to Army Hospital Rajouri for advanced treatment.

A army official confirmed the incident and said the injured army man has been hospitalized. (KNS)
