Karnah Oct, 15 (KNS) To Celebrate the 89th birth anniversary of former Indian President and Missile man Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Thursday Army in Collabaratiin With Degree College Tanghdar Conducted a workshop on ‘Innovative Mind' for the Student of GDC Tanghdar with a view to keep the youth abreast with the latest technology, Score of Students of Degree College Tangdar, teaching and Non teaching Faculity of the College attended this workshop. The aim of the workshop was personality development of the Student, enhance their skills and to equip them with the changing entrepreneur culture and technological approaches.
Deputy Commandant 104 Infantry bragade Manjeet Mohan Sing , who was the chief guest on the occasion while addressing to Student said, “We need to equip students with all over development, they should not become the job seekers after finishing their studies but should provide jobs to others. We need to ignite the spark, which is present within them so that they can create their own jobs.” he said determinded efforts should be made to make Tanghdar Valley a hub of knowledge, innovation and learning by innovative mind, While remmenbering the former president of India and missile man APJ Abdul Kalam on his 89th birth anniversary he said Dr. APJ has inspired and still inspires thousands of youth all around the world wheather it was his political career or scientific his life has been very challenging and filled with hardships and struggles but his commitment towards education was such that he overcame all the hardships and achieved excellence not only in academics but also held the highest constitutional post in the Republic of India.
In the inaugural speech Principal Of Degree College Tanghdar Dr. Satwant Sing welcomed Army officers,Students and Media Persons in the event, he thanks to Army officer for their role to encouraging youths he said "Our aim is to promote the entrepreneur culture among the youth In this regard, we have organised this event, in which we invited Army Officers so that they can present their ideas".the workshop was well appreciated by one and all.(KNS)
