Srinagar, 29 Jul (KNS): In an initiative undertaken by 31 Sub Area as part of its outreach, four physically handicapped individuals Nawaz Ahmed Chupan, Imtiaz Ahmad Ganie, Mukhtar Ahmad Mir and Bashir Ahmad Sofi were presented with E-Scooter. These men in spite of their disability are self-motivated, eager and display tremendous courage, grit and determination. They are inspirations for other people to emulate.
 
According to statement issued to KNS reads, On 28 Jul 2020, Maj Gen Raju Chauhan General Officer Commanding, 31 Sub Area, presented the E-Scooters. These E-Scooters would facilitate in their daily commuting and provide a comfortable conveyance for them. Maj Gen Raju Chauhan complimented all the persons for their indomitable spirit and determination to progress in spite of handicaps and assured them of help and support in the future also. The beneficiaries appreciated the constant efforts of the Army in supporting the Awaam in all their endeavours.(KNS)
