Baramulla September 10:(KNS) Security forces today claimed have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in forest area in Dulanja of Uri in North Kashmir Baramulla district.
A police official told to KNS, on basis of a reliable input the Jammu and Kashmir Police along with 8RR regarding presence of a cache of arms in Dulanja, Uri.
A specific search was launched in the area. The Search continued through the day, Culminating in the recovery of, M16 Rifles, Pak origin 02 Pistols, 04, Magazine were recovered during the operation.
An officla said Since the Sep 2020 numerous inputs were being received regarding delivery of a consignment of illegal ordinance likely to be dumped alone area astride the loc in north jhelum sub sector likely to be used for fuelling nefarious activities in the hinterland.(KNS)
