Karnah October 13:(KNS) Security forces on Tuesday claimed to have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition near LOC Teetwal sector of  north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
An  Police official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) the a joint party of police and Army 6-Jak rifle conducted a search at spot during search a black colour bag containing arms and ammunition were recovered at village Gundishart near Seri culture garden.
Army had launched an operation in Teetwal sector near the Line of Control (LOC) after intelligence inputs and recovered war like stores from a location .
The officer further said during the operation Pistol 9mm, 05 No,s, Pistol Mag, 10,Rounds,138 No,s and Biscuits02 pockets were recovered.
In this regard case FIR No 78/2020 u/s 7/25 I A act stands registered and investigation taken up.(KNS)
