Anjuman Shari Shian organizes Chehlum procession

I hope Sharma will ask India to expand circle of dialogue process: Aga Hassan


Srinagar, Nov 10 (KNS): Anjuman Shari Shian Friday organized Chehlum Processions across Kashmir Valley.
Led by organization head and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi, these processions were taken out on daily basis from 17 Safar to 21 Safar.
On 17 Safar-ul-Muzafar, processions were taken out in Nowgam Payeen and on 19 Safar mourning processions were taken out in Kolbartal, Wadrabal Budgam. The mourning processions were taken out across on 20 Safar.
As per the statement issued to KNS, the central level Chehlum processions were taken out in Zaildar Mohalla Saida Kadal Srinagar and Astan Sharief Budgam in which thousands of devotees took part.
Those who offered marsia Khwani included Zakir Mustafa Ali, Syed Yousuf Dab, Ali Muhammad Najar, Ali Muhammad Rather, Tasaduq Hussain, Ghulam Muhammad Khanyari, Ghulam Muhammad Dargandi, Syed Tahir Hussain Mosvi, Syed Ajaz Kazmi, Nisar Hussain Harinara and others.
Highlighting the importance of Chehlum, Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi said that these processions are as important as prayers. He said shed light on the sacrifices of Imam Hussain, his family and companions for Islam.
Reacting on the recent visit of Indian interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma, Aga Hasan said that dialogue is the only way to resolve Kashmir issue.
He said that present atmosphere is conducive for a meaningful dialogue. “Had India would have implemented the recommendations of previous interlocutors, the separatist leaders would have no objection in entering into a dialogue with the present interlocutor,” he said.
Aga Syed Hasan hoped that Sharma will ask India to expand the circle of dialogue process so that confidence of people in Kashmir will be restored. (KNS)
