APSCC impresses upon PM Modi to reach out to people of Kashmir

Srinagar April 23:(KNS)  All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has impressed upon Prime Minister Narinder Modi to reach out to the people of Kashmir in order to have a first hand account of the problems being faced by the people and come out with a solution to those problems.

In a statement to Kashmir News Service (KNS), APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said that people of Kashmir have suffered badly. He said that time has come to apply balm to the wounds of Kashmiris and there is no better person than Prime Minister Modi.

"It is important to listen to the voices, emotions and aspirations of the people of Kashmir especially youth. The Prime Minister should reach out to the people of his own and he should not pay any heed to the propaganda dished out by people having vested interests," said the APSCC Chairman.

Raina said that fragrance of World famous Saffron of Kashmir can be felt only when Kashmiris are taken on board who are hospitable and loving. He said that same can be gauged by the overwhelming love on the tourists and Yatris who have been visiting Kashmir despite all odds.

Raina said that Jammu and Kashmir has already gone into a transformation mode and the Prime Minister should avail this opportunity by taking youth centric initiatives. This would lead to economic progress of this place and the whole union territory would embark upon the path of development.(KNS)
