Pulwama, Oct 10 (KNS): A fresh encounter broke out in Dadoora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday afternoon.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that joint team of Army, CPRF and SoG Of Jammu and Kashmir Police jointly launched the Cardon and Search operation (CASO) in the area following the inputs presence of militants in the area.
An official said that as the joint team of security forces encircled the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon the joint team of forces which was retaliated ensuing the gun battle in the area.
A senior police also confirmed the exchange of gunfire in the area and said the firing in the area is going on.
It to mention here that two militants were also killed in Kulagam encounter early this morning
