Srinagar, Mar 11, (KNS) : Awami National Conference President Begum Khalida Shah and senior vice president Muzafar Shah Thursday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Mehraj.

   In a statement to "KNS"  they said that the night of ascension of the holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) holds a significant place in the annals of history. “Almighty Allah bestows His innumerate blessings during this most revered night and we should take advantage of this sacred night and pray for peace, progress and prosperity for the whole world,” they observed.

  They greeted the people especially the residents of Jammu and Kashmir on this sacred occasion of Shab-i-Mehraj.(KNS)
