Ganderbal,April 20 (KNS):Authorities on Monday suspended an Ambulance driver for showing negligence towards his duties.

Reports said that in a prompt action against a negligent ambulance driver, CMO Ganderbal has ordered his immediate suspension.

According to the details available with KNS, health authorities sent an Ambulance to pick and carry COVID-19 suspects from the Red Zone, Gutlibagh to District Hospital Ganderbal for their sample collection.

The Ambulance driver violating the SOP norms had driven his unhygienic and unclean vehicle and carried around a dozen of suspects in one go, thereby putting all the lives at risk.

Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal, Dr Mehraj din while confirming the development told KNS that the driver was put under suspension with immediate effect and the Ambulance was kept to stand at District Hospital Ganderbal for thorough cleaning and sanitization before it'll be used again.(KNS)
