Ahsan Pardesi pays tributes to July 13 1931 Matyrs ,recalls their contribution


Srinagar, 12 July: Ahsan Pardesi provincial vice president kashmir youth national conference on Sunday paid glowing tributes to Martyrs of 1931, terming the day a defining moment in the political history of Kashmir.
While paying tributes to Matyrs on Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir that observes the sacrifice of valiant people on July 13, 1931, Ahsan recalled the sacrifices given by them for the restoration of their rights, stating that people of the State would remain indebted to the Martyrs.
In a statement issued to KNS, Ahsan said that the martyrs laid down their lives against suppression and autocracy and put the foundation of democracy in the State. “July 13 1931 was a turning point moment in the history of Kashmir and marked the beginning of a struggle against tyranny, oppression and despotism. The day will continue to remain as an important part of history and it will continue to remind the people of the sacrifices of martyrs who achieved martyrdom for voicing against oppression.”
“The day will always be remembered for their sacrifices and people will continue to remain indebted to them for fighting the battle against the autocratic rule. I on this day pay my humble tributes to the martyrs. They will continue to inspire and valorize us. They is a lot we can imbibe from them. May almighty grant highest stations to them in Jannah,”he said. (KNS)
