Srinagar, 06 November (KNS): The Jammu and National Conference on Friday said that people of J&K, and Ladakh have risen above pe!y di"erences and rallied round Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah in his efforts underway for the restoration on of Special status which was spitefully, unconstitutional and Undemocratically rescinded on 5th of August last year.

According to statement issued to KNS, Addressing a meeting of Party functionaries here at Khimber block of Sonwar constituency Party’s

President of District Srinagar, and YNC former Provincial Vice President kashmir said that the people are supporting the efforts of Party President for the restoration on of Article 370,35-A. The meeting was convened by former vice president kashmir youth national conference Ahsan
Pardesi and Presided over by Peer Afaq Ahmed.
District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmed Said that people of J&k have come
to terms with what was done to them on the 5 of August. He said that the e"orts of Party President underway for the restoration on of people’s rights have rekindled hope in the distressed people who have all long been su"ering on di"erent accounts ranging from successive clampdown, lockdown and soaring unemployment.
“A catch-up to the pre-crisis situation is a far cry under present situation on with no account of Fiscal support coming from government. The pervasive unemployment in J&k was a direct consequence of the measures undertaken by GOI last year and that the situation on is far from redemption on in wake of Government apathy,” he said.

Ahsan pardesi in his address said that there can no trade o" between the genuine political aspirations of the people of J&k , Ladakh and development issues, he said that both should go hand in hand, and that the GOI should make amends to its unilateral and unconstitutional decisions undertaken by it on the 5th
of august last year. “GOI should see the righting of on wall and not waste any more time further in restoring the articles 370, 35-A. The measures taken on 5th of august last year haven’t fared well in any region of J&k. There can be no redemption on of the situation ol and unless J&k status isn’t restored,” he said.(KNS)
