Jammu August 15:(KNS) The Department of Agriculture Jammu celebrated the Independence Day, here at Krishi Bhawan with patriotic fervour and zeal.

The programme was organized jointly by Jammu & Kashmir Agriculture Employees Association, (Gazette/Non-Gazetted) Jammu.

Director Agriculture Jammu, Inder Jeet- the chief guest hoisted the National Flag. A large number of officers and employees of the Agriculture Department participated in the function following social distancing norms.

Congratulating all, the Director Agriculture highlighted the importance of the day and said that everyone should take a pledge on this day to work for the development and prosperity of the Nation. He appealed to all to work with great zeal and dedication for betterment of the farming community.

Inderjeet Singh; Agriculture Economist, K. K. Sharma; Agronomist Vegetables, S. A. S. Reen; CAO Jammu, F.A. Bhat; SMS, Regional Level, J. C. Raina; Incharge CSS, Iqbal Singh; Assistant Soil Chemist, Neeraj Rajwal and other employees of the Agriculture Department.
