Srinagar, June 10 (KNS): J&K Government has asked the General Administration Department (GAD) to prepare a roster of Administrative Secretaries who will periodically function from Srinagar and Jammu Secreteriat.
The directive has been passed after the recent "partial darbar move decesion of the Government in Srinagar. Unlike in the past, the civil secretariat shall function both at Jammu and Srinagar for the first time in the history.
According to a Government order, “The Competent Authority has directed the General Administration Department shall prepare a roster of the Administrative Secretaries who will function periodically from both the locations."
The order also reads that the GAD shall
finalize the list of Departments whose records will be fully shifted to Srinagar. The directions have been brought into the notice of all the Administrative Secretaries with the request to indicate which of the departments are shifting the records in full to Srinagar, the order added. (KNS)
