Congress General Secretary tells administration

Srinagar March 29 (KNS): The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi today visited Karmulla and Brengpal in Tral area of Pulwama District and met various people’s delegations.

As per the statement issued to kashmir news service-(KNS), The delegation apprised PCC General Secretary about the developmental issues confronting them and sought their resolution.

JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi visited Karmulla, Brengpal and other adjacent area in Tral area of Pulwama district and expressed serious concern over the difficulties faced by the people on account of dilapidated conditions of roads, non-availability of anganwari centre and shortage of teachers in primary schools, besides poor condition of electric poles.

PCC General Secretary said that road between Karmulla and Brengpal area were in a dilapidated condition thereby causing huge inconvenience to locals while passing through this road.

He said there were 400 hundred families residing in the area, but so far not even a single angwari centre has been provided, besides there were dearth of teachers in primary schools, which is a matter of grave concern.

The delegations urged PCC General Secretary to take up their local developmental issues with the concerned authorities for their resolution.

JKPCC General Secretary urged the administration to repair Karamulla Brengpal road on priority basis, besides ensuring that anganwari centre is established in the area to ensure respite to locals. Channi added and sought posting of adequate number of teaches in two existing primary schools.(KNS)
