Srinagar, July 31 (KNS): The Fateha Khawani of the veteran leader of the Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) Haji Abdul Rehman Lone was held today at his residence Gandarpora Safa Kadal while keeping all the precautionary measures and SOPs at place owing to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Haji Abdul Rehman Lone passed away earlier this week.

On the occasion, AAC leaders recalled Haji Abdul Rehman Lone’s five-decade-long social, welfare and political services and sacrifices and paid rich tributes to the deceased

The AAC said the demise of Haji Abdul Rehman Lone has created a big void in the ranks of the organisation.

The members made Dua-e-Maghfirat and prayed for the highest places in Jannah for the deceased leader. (KNS)
