AAC grieved over demise of senior member's mother, delegation visits bereaved family

Srinagar, Sep 22 (KNS): Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of the pious and octogenarian mother of organization’s senior member Peer Ghulam Nabi Shah.

AAC paid tributes to the deceased who was the wife of Late Peer Ghulam Muhammad Shah.

According to the statement, AAC head Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, who is under house arrest for more than 12 months, on hearing the sad news directed the organisation's delegation comprising Ghulam Qadir Beigh, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Farooq Ahmad and Muhammad Sidiq Hazar to visit the bereaved family at Medroo, Tral in south Kashmir.

The delegation conveyed the condolence message of Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq and AAC leadership to the bereaved family especially Peer Ghulam Nabi Shah. The delegation also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and paid tributes to the deceased.

They also offered Fateha and prayed for highest place in Jannah for the deceased.(KNS)
