AAC grieved over demise of Al-Haaj Mohammad Sideeq Wawa

Srinagar, Apr 14(KNS): Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the demise of its lifelong member and veteran businessman, Al-Haaj Mohammad Sideeq Wawa who had a deep association with three generation of Mirwaizeen.

According to statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), AAC paid rich tributes to Al-Haaj Mohammad Sideeq Wawa for his sincere and selfless contribution towards the organisation and his firm belief in its principles that he held.

It said, the deceased worked alongside three Mirwaizeen –Mahajir-e-Millat (RA), Shaheed-e-Millat (RA) and the present Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq.

"After the martyrdom of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq in 1990, when Muhammad Umar Farooq assumed the responsibility of being the Mirwaiz as a young boy, Late Sideeq encouraged and supported the young Mirwaiz at every step with dedication", statement said.

It further said that the deceased service and contribution to the organisation is unforgettable.

AAC expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family saying the organisation stands with them at this hour of grief. "The organisation on behalf of its incarcerated chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also prayed for the heavenly abode to the deceased and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss", it said.
