Srinagar, May 24 (KNS): The work on Jehangir Chowk-Rambagh limb of the prestigious Srinagar flyover suspended due to non cooperation of the suppliers and the labourers will resume in coming few days.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), works minister and government spokesman Naeem Akhtar said “the company undertaking the construction of the flyover had some issues which were sorted out in a meeting called by the Chief Secretary and the work will hopefully resume within few days.”
It is in place to mention here that five days back the work on the flyover was suspended after the labourers and suppliers denied to cooperate in executing the works due to delay in payments but with chief secretary calling a meeting with the representatives of all concerned and settling with them the pending issues the work on flyover is likely to start in coming few days.
