Langate, May 27 (KNS): The ongoing work on the Lach-Drungsoo Bridge has badly hit farming activities in Audoora and other adjoining villages of Langate constituency in Kupwara district.
Locals of Audoora and adjoining villages told KNS that JKPCC authorities carrying out the work on the bridge have stopped the water supply to Audoora and adjoining villages and consequently the farming activities in the area have come to a grinding halt. Angry farmers have threatened to hit streets and block the moment of traffic on Handwara Nowgam road till the restoration of the water to the agriculture fields. (KNS)
