Jammu, Apr 25 (KNS): “We The Human” in collaboration with Asia Lever & Hapatology Centre and Swastika Laboratory conducted one day medical camp at Community Hall of Shree Gurudwara Tekri Sb in Ward Number 01, Simbal Camp Jammu. Apart from general medical checkup with blood pressure monitoring & random sugar sampling, a number of gastro patients were given free of cost consultation by Dr. Khalid Mehmood MD Medicine SKIIMS Soura, DNB Gastroenterology & Hepatology Yashoda Hospital Hyderabad. All patients were provided with medicines free of cost. Retired Principal/ Secretary to West Bengal Government (Law) Justice Kanwar Yash Bir Singh Manhas were chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated efforts of “We The Human” in taking initiatives for restoring back the degraded human values and damage to our environment.
It was informed by Shivani Anand that “We The Human” has recently been awarded with “National Excellence Award” by the Brain Behavior Research Foundation of India, Rajghat New Delhi as one of the fastest growing organizations of India. It was informed that the trust, though founded three months back only, has conducted a number of awareness programmes against excessive use of synthetic fertilizers and toxic chemical pesticides, insecticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators, apart from felicitating a number of organic producers and grant of financial aid to poor females and meritorious BPL children. Hosts of the function were informed by the trustee of “We The Human” to provide certified/ authentic list of ten destitute ladies from their area, for grant of financial aid by the trust in this week.
