Chairman hails him for establishing his connections to grassroots levels

Jammu, Feb 02 (KNS): J&K Bank gave a warm send-off to its Senior President Abdul Rashid, who attained superannuation on January 31, after serving for almost four decades in the bank.
The farewell was attended by the Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmad along with Executive Presidents Vagish Chander Presidents, Vice-Presidents and other senior officers of the bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Parvez Ahmad said, “Strong leadership is the guiding force of every organisation towards realizing its objectives. And in this sense Abdul Rashid has richly contributed to the growth and development of this institution.”
“He has always been direct yet dignified in his conversations across hierarchies for which he will be remembered by one and all in the bank”, Parvez Ahmad added.
The chairman hailed him for establishing his connections to the grassroots levels and fervently hoped that he would be continuing his contribution to the society at large.
Abdul Rashid in his address while thanking all his colleagues all along his career acknowledged their support and cooperation in allowing him to reach this position despite various constraints. Other speakers in the event also hailed his contribution and wished him peace, progress and prosperity post his retirement. (KNS)
