Baramulla, Nov 17 (KNS): Senior PDP leader and retired senior JK IGP crime, Raja Ajaz Ali Khan on Saturday said that the border town Uri was neglected by every elected member from last 10 years.
He said that now the people today exercised their franchise for change. “We hope people will cast their votes in favour of good personalities who will develop their villages and blocks etc,” he said.
Raja Ajaz Ali Khan joined PDP several years back, he also contested in 2014 assembly election but lost against his rival from NC Muhammad Shafi Uri.
He added that PDP is the only party who will fulfill their dreams in future so people decided to cast their votes in favour of PDP backed candidates.
“Irony is that MLA Uri Mohammad Shafi didn't even attend the last board meetings, how can he develop the constituency,” he said.
Critcising congress party, Khan said that Congress wants to divide people on caste and tribal basis. (KNS)
