Handwara, Mar 01 (KNS): Authorities led by Additional District Magistrate Handwara has launched an extensive drive of sealing all the USG clinics in the town stating that they were not fulfilling the laid down criteria.
According to the KNS correspondent, a high level team led by ADM which includes CMO Kupwara and Tehsildar Handwara also are currently sealing the clinics.
Talking to KNS, ADM Pirzada Muzaffer said that the action had become inevitable as the USG clinics were not following the laid down criteria. He said after sealing only Deputy Commissioner has the authority to review the decision.
Meanwhile Clinic owners have cried foul and said they are being harassed unnecessarily. (KNS)
