‘Vowed to take forward his mission’

Srinagar, May 24 (KNS): United Jehad Council Chief Syed Sallahudin has paid tributes to the Dr Aala, who passed away in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.
In an emailed statement to KNS, UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain said that the UJC held a condolence meeting which was chaired by Sallahudin.
“Dr Aala was one of the patrons of pro-freedom group Alfatah. He paid huge sacrifices, resisted brutal tortures and lived in exile for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir but did not give up or change his stance. His departure from us is painful and the void he left cannot be filled by anyone,” the spokesman quoted the UJC chief as saying.
The UJC chief “vowed to take forward the mission” of Dr Aala and prayed for peace of the soul and sympathised with the bereaved family. (KNS)
