Pays tribute to slain Handwara militants, woman

Srinagar, Dec 12 (KNS): United Jihad Council (UJC) on Tuesday paid tributes to the slain Handwara militants and a woman killed during an encounter in Unisoo village of Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted UJC chief, Syed Salah-ud-din said, “The blood of militants will bear fruit.”
While paying tributes to Masira Bano killed during Unisoo encounter, UJC chief said, “The Indian forces have once again demonstrated that they are treating every Kashmir as their enemy irrespective of their age, sex and involvement in the freedom struggle.”
He said that the womenfolk have rendered more sacrifices as compared o the men in the ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, condemning the killing of two Bank guards in Shopian, he said, “The killing of bank guards is the handiwork of either professional criminals or Indian agents.”
UJC chief while addressing a meeting of United Jihad Council extended solidarity with the bereaved families of the bank guards. (KNS)
