Srinagar, Oct 11 (KNS): Two militants were killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Shahgund Qalamabad area of Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Police officials confirmed to Kashmir News Service (KNS) that two militants were killed in the gunfight.
A top police officer said that two bodies have been recovered from the gunfight site, saying that the identification of the militants is being ascertained. (KNS)
