Srinagar, Jun 22 (KNS): Two militants, one policeman and one civilian has been killed during the encounter at Srigufwara in Anantnag District today morning.
Jammu and Kashmir Police chief S P Vaid confirmed that two militants, one policeman have been killed in the ongoing encounter.
"Encounter at Khiram Srigufara on , two terrorists down, firing still continues. Unfortunate we lost one colleague of J&K Police," DGP tweeted
"Terrorists reportedly affiliated to ISJK," he further tweeted.
Police officials and Doctors in Anantnag confirmed that one civilian identified as Mohammad Yosuf was killed during the encounter, and a woman was injured. They said that a woman, who is reportedly wife of the slain civilian has been injured and is being treated at a Srinagar hospital. More details awaited. (KNS)
