Langate, Nov 29 (KNS): At least two laborers died in slab collapsing incident in Langate area of frontier district Kupwara and seven others were injured while four of them were referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Reports said slab of a commercial complex collapsed and one of the laborers identified as Shams-u-Din Mir of Langate working there died on spot and eight others were injured.
Four critically injured were referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment, official said.
However, another labourer later succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll to two.
The second labourer who died in the incident was non-local. (KNS)
