Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): The stranded traffic was allowed to ply on Srinagar Jammu national highway on Wednesday after reaming closed for one day after a fresh spell of snowfall.
SP Traffic Rural Muzafar Ahmed Shah told KNS that the road was thrown open after it was cleared from the snow and debris.
“300 stranded vehicles were allowed to move to their respective destinations this afternoon. Traffic will ply from Srinagar to Jammu on Thursday,” he told KNS.
The road was closed for vehicular movement on Tuesday morning after fresh snow and landslide at Rasmoo area.

The SP has advised people not to start their journey on the either side of the road before knowing the status of the highway form the traffic control units.
