Yousmarg, July 09 (KNS): A three-day workshop on Children’s literature in Kashmiri language concluded here at Yousmarg on Tuesday.

The workshop was organised by Sahitya Akedemi (National academy of letters) New Delhi under the directions of Dr Aziz Hajini who is Convener of the Kashmiri Advisory Board at Sahitya Academy.

Noted expert in children literature G N Aatish was the main guest of the workshop while as Majeed Majazi, Muzaffar Hussain Dilber, Dr Nissar u Nabi, Syed Abid Gouhar, Aabid Ashraf, Ghulam Rasool josh, Reyaz Anznoo and Gh Ahmad Makhmoor were the other participants of the workshop.

“Children’s literature produced in various genres of Kashmiri language during the workshop shall be published in a book form by Sahitya akedemi within couple of months,” said Dr.Hajini on the conclusion of the workshop.

The main objective was to orient and sensitize writers of Kashmiri language about the technicalities and other related niceties of children’s literature. Such workshops will continue in future also, said convener of Kashmiri for Sahitya Academy while concluding the workshop. (KNS)
