Handwara, Oct 18 (KNS):  A local court has sentensed seven year jail term to three brothers of Chedpow, Handwara in a fifteen year old case.
According to KNS, Additional Sessions Judge Tasleem Arif today sentensed seven years imprionsment to Bilal Ahmad lone, Abdul Majeed lone and Farooq Ahmad lone sons of Mohd Maqbool lone residents of  Chedpow Handwara in a Case vide FIR no. 37/2002 of p/s Villgam punishable under sections of 452 and 304.
Sources told KNS that all the three accused persons have been convicted for murdering Gh. Mohi ud din and we’re consequently sentenced imprisonment of Seven years and fifteen thousand rupees under 304 part I and three years and five thousand rupees in 452.
Both the imprisonment shall however, run concurrently. Advocate Ahrar was the Public prosecutor for this particular case whereas Advocate Akhter Rasool was the defence lawyer. (KNS)
