Srinagar, May 20 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Qayoom Wani showed serious concern on the plight of striking contractual lecturers who have put their sweet and blood for upliftment of educational standard in the state in difficult situations.

In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that issuing termination order to the educated youths is totally injustice with them and also with the student community.

He said that government should immediately frame a policy for their regularisation instead of termination. He said that these lecturers are facing difficult situation and are in mental trauma.

PDP leader urged upon governor for his personal intervention for early redressed of this genuine issue.

Qayoom Wani showed full sympathy with the striking left and assured them full support from People’s Democratic Party in their struggle. (KNS)
