Focus on rural areas with message of development: PM Modi

 Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the team of his ministers to focus on rural areas with a message of development in J&K.  

 
PM Modi said this during a meeting with the team of 36 -Ministers on Friday before their scheduled week-long outreach programme in J&K.
 
Official sources said that PM also asked the Ministers to inform and educate locals about the various central government schemes launched for benefit of people at the grass root level.
 
“He also asked them to visit villages, interact with locals, and get their feedback about the governance,” sources told KNS.
 
The Prime Minister has particularly tasked  Smriti Irani, Piyush Goyal, Jitender Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Kiren Rijiju, Hardeep Puri, G Kishen Reddy, Purshottam Singh Rupala, Mahendra Nath Pandey, General VK Singh, Gajender Singh Shekhawat and Anurag Thakur for reach out programme which includes 51 in Jammu, and only eight for Kashmir .
 
The Congress party has called the visit of ministers as "propaganda mission". (KNS)
