Bandipora, May 23 (KNS): Minister for Tourism, Tassaduq Hussain Mufti today stressed for installation of interior facilities across the tourist parks and bird watcher huts in district Bandipora.
The Minister, who is on three day visit to district Bandipora, today said this while inspecting the facilities at Wullar Vantage Park Garoora, Bandipora.
The Minister directed for maintaining of proper sanitation and waste management in the park which is the gate way of Bandipora district.
The Minister said that nature has bestowed plenty of beauty to the district in the shape of water resources and lush green pastures, which need to be properly developed to boost the Developmental profile of the district.
The minister was accompanied by District Development Commissioner, Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sanai, SSP Bandipora Sheikh Zulfkar Azad, Officers of Tourism and Wildlife Department.
The Minister also had a visit of Mini Secretariat, Bandipora where he had a brief meeting with District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanai and concerned Officers. The DDC briefed the Minister about the developmental activities being carried out in the district. The DDC also briefed the Minister about various spots which can be developed as tourist destinations. (KNS)
