Jammu, Feb 09 (KNS): CPI(M) secretary and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami here on Friday moved a calling attention notice to demand the status of the investigation ordered into the alleged rape and murder of a minor girl Asifa Bano daughter of Mohd Yousuf resident of Rassana Mohara, Tehsil Heeranagar of Kathua District.
According to the KNS correspondent, in his calling attention notice Tarigami alleged that some anti-social elements are trying to politicize the issue and halt the investigation to derive political mileages out of the issue.
Replying to the calling attention notice of Tarigami on investigation of the case, Parliamentary affairs Minister Abdul Rahman Veeri told the house that investigation will be found to logical conclusion and those found guilty will be sternly punished. (KNS)
