Says ‘talked to DC, SSP Kulgam also’

Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): CPI (M) senior leader and MLA Kulgam, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday demanded probe into the death of a girl in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district due to a cardiac arrest.
Tarigami in a statement issued to KNS said that the investigations must be started to find out how a girl in Kulgam district died to due to cardiac arrest.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, a girl identified as 23-year-old Rifat Jan, daughter of Abdul Hamid Rather died of heart attack in Ashmuji village of southern Kulgam district.
MLA Kulgam termed the death of girl as ‘unfortunate’.
Tarigami said that he has also talked to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, urging them that a proper investigation must be initiated in this regard so that facts about his death will be known. (KNS)
