Srinagar, Jan 27 (KNS): Expressing serious concern over civilian killings in South Kashmir's Shopian, the CPI (M) Secretary and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami strongly condemned the firing incident at Gonowpowa Shopian and described the incident as highly condemnable, painful.
In a statement issued to KNS, Tarigami termed the firing on youth as very unfortunate.
He urged upon the forces to exercise maximum restraint while dealing with the protestors, as the restraint by them will help contribute to peace and tranquility.
While offering deepest condolences to bereaved family, he appealed youth to maintain peace. (KNS)
