Soz urges Sinha to raise voice on Kashmir situation in Delhi forcefully

Srinagar, Nov 25 (KNS): Former Union minister and Congress leader Saif-ud-Din Soz Monday said the administration has shown itself in “poor light by not allowing the team of concerned citizens led by Yashwant Sinha to visit Kulgam and other areas in south Kashmir.”

“The team was not allowed to meet even three former chief ministers and other political leaders in Srinagar. It is very unfortunate that the administration is dead set to block all information regarding the situation on ground in Kashmir, which is very bad,” he said in a statement to KNS.

“Needless to emphasize that apart from a complete shutdown of shops, all enterprises industrial units, educational institutions and transport stand closed since 5th August 2019. I urge Yashwant Sinha and his colleagues to raise their voice in Delhi on its return and take the position forcefully that the situation on ground in Kashmir is extremely bad and the people of Kashmir have continued to suffer all kinds of hardships, all these days,” he added.
