Soz questions Jitendera Singh’s statement on development in J&K

Srinagar, Dec 22 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and former union minister Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz Sunday questioned MoS in the PMO Dr Jitendera Singh’s assertions “that there was a boost in the development of private sector in J&K State after abrogation of Article 370 of the constitution of India.”
In a statement to KNS he said, “One would like to ask Jitender Singh to cite just one example where private sector industry came up in J&K after the abrogation of Article 370. One would like to ask him (Jitender Singh) to cite just one example of the successive governments of J&K State having taken recourse to Article 370 to stop development of any industry in J&K.”
“It is unfortunate that the BJP leadership is constantly and consciously telling lies about the now abrogated Article 370 of the constitution of India having caused hurdles in the economic development of J&K State. It happens to be a phobia in the minds of BJP leadership that led to be the abrogation of Article 370 of the constitution of India,” Soz said.
“I am sure the BJP will pay heavy price for this blunder, in due course of time,” he added. (KNS)
