Slapping PSAs on former CMs abomination of Democracy: Hakeem Yaseen

 Srinagar, Feb 09 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Chairman Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Sunday said the slapping of Public Safety Act (PSA) on three Former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir is shocking and shows contradiction of words and deeds of the central Government on democracy and patriotism.]

 In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Hakeem Yaseen said “shocking it to see government in the world’s biggest democracy is slapping Public safety Act (PSA) on the three formers  chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir who are a good patriotic and democratic as are the elected members of parliament.
Calling upon the centre to review the decisions on slapping of PSA in three former chief ministers having distinction of representing the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the Parliament Yaseen said pushing former chief ministers known for their central role in extension of many crucial centeral laws related to national security against the sprit of democracy and patriotism.
Seeking review of PSAs in case of other Senior leaders Ali Mohammad Sagar and   Sartaj Madni Yaseen also demanded immediate release of all detained leaders particularly three former chief ministers , former ministers and former legislators  who are still undergoing detention (KNS) .
