Discusses prevailing situation, recent political development

Srinagar, Jun 22 (KNS): Former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha called on National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar on Friday.
Sinha discussed the prevailing situation in the State as well as recent political developments with the NC Vice President and said the return of peace and restoration of a democratic, representative system of governance was of utmost importance.
Omar Abdullah said the party's foremost concern remained the restoration of normalcy in the State and that relief is provided to the people.
NC General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani and Political Advisor Tanvir Sadiq were also present on the occasion. (KNS)
